The Extended Family Solutions

The Extended Family: Where individuals with and without disabilities come together to lift up others.

The Extended Family empowers persons of all abilities to dream, grow, and share their respective talents and intellect as active civic participants and ambassadors. All while making a difference in the lives of others.

Our Meaningful Engagement classes open the possibilities for all adults to learn to create new products for our neighbors in need. No experience is necessary, work at your own pace in a stress-free, social and fun environment. Participants learn a variety of skills, including how to be a valuable contributing member of your local community. Classes are ongoing, join any time.

Connecting Communities– Food insecurity is growing at an alarming rate and too many of our neighbors are unable to put food on the table. Our local Food Pantries are experiencing the stress of meeting the weekly numbers of increasing families in need of relief. And did you know that sadly there are too many students who are not getting nutritious meals on the weekends and during school vacations? In many states there are well over 100 days each year when students are out of school, placing a burden on families who are struggling to put adequate food on the table.  Be part of the solution! Join our Community Giving Cupboard initiative because each of us can make a difference in our communities.
