Adoptive & Foster Family Coalition (Kinship Caregiver Support Program)

The Kinship Caregiver Support Program is the Coalition’s free support, information and educational program open to all relative kinship caregivers who have formal or informal custody or guardianship of children in Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Tompkins counties.

The Kinship Caregiver Support program is staffed by individuals with lived experience who have specialized training and experience working with kinship families. The program offers families the opportunity to connect one-on-one with a Kinship Family Support Specialist around any concern that is placing stress on the family. Our team will work with your whole family to determine how we can best help!

Our Kinship Caregiver Support Program’s services are provided free of charge. Whether it’s a simple question, a need for more training or a more challenging problem, we are here to guide you. Our guiding principle is that all families should have the support they need when they need it.
